Climate control module from xj8 swap out?
#21
Dirk:
Good idea! But remember the damage the DCCV does to the control modules has been fixed by several shade tree guys. Two failures have been documented. One just burns a trace on the circuit board out and more rarely a transistor is burned out. Both pretty cheap repairs but of course takes knowledge of where to look. Added complication is there are two modules. One for cars with navigation and one without.
Great price on the DCCV. I replaced mine before I knew the Lincoln LS part was the same! Paid about $300 from Jaguar. Turns out my Lincoln LS used the 5 hose version while my STR used the 3 hose version.
