Default Clock spring removal?

I've got code 19 from the Airbag light. After lots of reading it points to the clock spring needing replaced. However, another member just cleaned his clock spring on an XJR and it fixed his problem. I would like to be a test mule on this and try it out to see if I can save everyone $100 on a new clock spring for the S-Type. From what I can see on the back of the wheel there are a total of 6 torx screws. Two screws that seems to be 30 torx and are set more deeply in the plastic cover and 4 screws that seem to be a 15 torx that are close to the surface of the plastic. Are the 2 screws the ones that remove the airbag cover? I don't have a 30 torx small enough to reach all the way in so I'm just double checking....

Got to say: I would not even think about doing it (or anything safety-related) without first studying JTIS (workshop manual) diligently.

Tools often pay for themselves many times over just with one job.
