Clutch pedal return spring

Clutch pedal return spring
Hello all, I'm having trouble putting my pedal box back into place. The return spring popped off and I'm not exactly sure of its orientation. Every direction I try to put it back on, it doesn't seem to push back against pressure like it seems like it should. Does anyone have a picture of how the clutch pedal return spring goes in their car?
Any help would be appreciated.

Still? You didn't exactly pose a question the first time. I wanted a manual transmission STR, so I'm making a manual transmission STR. I'm waiting on the slave cylinder now and I can bolt the trans in place for the final time.

How does what engine is mounted in the car change how the clutch pedal return spring is installed?
Incidentally, I've wagered the spring doesn't do much work until the top of the stroke to return it to the released position. It looks like to relies mostly on the hydraulic pressure from the master/slave. The other cars I've swapped have all had a spring design that presses back on the entire stroke. No surprise Jaguar has to be just a little bit different.

I guess so. I'm not really looking to make money off this. When it's all said and done I'd be happy to show what all parts I used. Until it's finished though, I'm just another in a long line of guys attempting it.

On second thought, I'm sorry. No hard feelings. I'll just go enjoy my car.

If you read up a bit you'll see how helpful people are with people who provide useful info right up front rather than having it dragged unwillingly out of them. Your choice how you act.
BTW the clutch is going to be one of the very easy things to solve.
