Question CMP Sensor Issue

Hello,
I have a 2006 S-Type 3.0L. The check engine light came on and I pulled out P0340-92 and P0340-94 codes, both mentioning "Camshaft position sensor A circuit (bank 1 or single sensor).
Can someone tell me what exactly do I need to do here? Should I be replacing the whole sensor? There is no visual damage, I can remove it and it clicks perfectly when attached.

Two things to do before replacing any parts:
  • Check battery voltage across the terminals using a voltmeter with the ignition in the OFF position. There should be a minimum of 12.6 volts present.
  • Inspect the wiring loom to the rear of the cylinder head for damage or poor connection to the sensor.
