Cold weather operation
Just for interest's sake, it's was -33*C static air temperature here yesterday morning. Not sure what that equates to in Luddite degrees. Without the block heater being plugged in, the kitty fired up on the first crank. I let it sit for a while to warm slightly and it did ride like a truck for the first few kms.
This is with a 5 year old battery.
Yay Jaguar!

I'll second the ability of these cars in the cold. My best is a -42*C air temp start after sitting all night. Thing really didn't like it and I did get warning lights and misfires, but once it warmed up, all was well! So far this year some good performance on starts. Yes, i get some misfires now and then, yes, the transmission acts like it doesn't know what it's supposed to do and yes, the engine sometimes make scary noises, but once it warms up, runs just as it should! I must say that when I first bought it I did have my doubts about these types of temperatures and a British car! lol

Something like that! However, last week it was -36C and today its -4C and supposed to be 0C by friday, then by next Monday, -27C, so it's all over the place here! And I do have a block heater, but I park on the street and my wife gets the spot with the plug! they joys of living in an apartment! But, it's close to Univeristy so can't complain.
