Default Connecting external audio source to S-type stereo system

Been reading the forum on the regular basis, but can't find the info on how to connect an mp3 player with regular 3.5 mm plug into the system. as far as I can see there is nothing on the radio panel to connect to.
I have 2006 3.0 S-Type.

There is no provision on the head unit. Look up the "audio connectivity module" accessory from Jaguar. It gives you a console mounted connection to hook up a 3.5mm plug or USB to the stereo.

only option??? not really. Depends on what you really want it to do. Some of us have done the Alpine ex-10 and it works good. If you do the antenna upgrade on it, it is even better. i can stream from my cell phone, connect ipod, and also it has bluetooth. Just a heads up

Can you tell me how you integrated the Alpine ex-10 to the system?
Direct connection to existing OEM NAV unit? Any pictures of your setup?

at this time, mine is completely wireless and works ok. Never had to pull the radio at all. Im still deciding whether or not to change the main headunit or not. My str does not have Nav as i wanted to change it out originally anyway. Once you add the 2 adaptors for the antenna system, it is that much better.
