connector disconnect

Hey zt, welcome to the forum from a neighboring Fort Millian .
Dude, I have been dying to under take a SC coolant hose issue for many years. We (my wife) drives a granny 3.0 for the past few years. But I have always wanted to do a SC removal.
Unfortunately I cannot direct you to on the removal of the 2 quick connects, but there may be a write up in the "how to" section with some pics or a video. If you get to stumped I would be willing to come over and help you out.
BTW I am over near the new Publix.

Sure would be GR. Hey why don't you start? HINT HINT
Here are 2 threads that I found in the How To section that aid in the removal of the SC, I hope the pictures still work:

I struggled with those connectors. I think that there are two near the throttle body and they are hard to get to. I kinda deformed one trying to remove it. I finally realized that there are similar connectors near the front of the car and I was able to read the manufacturer name (Norma?). With that name I was able to search the internet and this forum for tips to remove it. Even so, the damaged one never came off but I was able to wiggle it out of the way as they rotate. Hope this helps.

thanks guys. I was able to get them off. They are the press and release type. You just don't have room to press on both sides to do so. You press on both sides and the remaining sides of the connector will (in theory) buckle out away from the housing. I was able to get a small screwdriver to get in between the connector and housing on one side while I "encouraged" the other side to release. About an hour after that I had the SC out. I am more than thankful that after all that, I do definitively see that the coolant leak is coming from the lower "heater" hose that is under the SC. That would have been very disappointing to go thru all of this work and not be able to identify the source of the leak.
Thanks for your replies. I am sure I will be asking more questions as I continue the process.

Yes those type of connectors are the same as the one that runs from the air intake tube and connects to the driver’s side cam cover on the STR.
There is a round plastic skirt and you must press 180 degrees across from each other to distort the plastic lip enough so you can wiggle it off the nipple.
This diagram might help?
