Connects 2 Aux-In Adapter S-Type / X-Type
I would like to know if some of you have installed this adapter.

I am confused about the plugs shown on the picture, but don't know if it is just a sample pic.
According to pic 8 on the link below the S-Type headunit seems to be the same as the one in my X-Type.

So i wonder if that adapter would work for me.

But based on following links and the fact that you say you have the same head unit....My answer is no.
That part is listed as a Visteon / Ford adapter... Those radios were in the early S Types.. Latter cars (like the one pictured in the post link you provided) are different and not Ford units..And yes, latter years (S, X, XJ) used the same head units. Hint: It is shared components that made the dashes all look the same....While individual modules may not cross over from one model to the next; the plastic boxes that hold the components are the same.....

Btw Jeff, the radios are all plug and play, X-Type to S-Type, to XJ. What changes believe it or not for the X-Type is the two little pins on the top that mate it to the climate control are different, due to the non dual climate control. Ask me how I realized that after cursing for 1/2 hour about why the stock radio didn't fit back in my X-Type LOL...
Take care,
George
