So over the past few weeks I had the 100K mile service completed as well as a few new hoses (radiator and intake) replaced after my Indy smoked her after an initial P1642 and Lean Bank 1 Code...

After the service and new hoses, I drove her for few days and the restricted performance light came back on with another Lean Bank 1 Code...I thought it may be the K&N filter and had a stock filter put back in and after I left the shop, the next day the light came back on...

When I initially took her in to my Indy, the restricted light had gone off but I obviously wanted to have it checked...they put her up, smoked her and to no avail found anything...

The issue seems to occur when I am driving up and down a steep hill into and out of my community, other than that the car drives fine, starts fine and everything in between...

Does the ECU need to 'get used' to the K&N filter because of the increased air flow...I am really at a loss...

Anyone have any recommendations or had this problem before where they just couldn't put a finger on anything???

You won't get increased air flow but you may get oil vapor on your MAF which will then ruin the fuelling. The STR simply does not suffer from lack of air flow at the intake.

However, what you describe would be a classic ignition problem. Possibly plugs but far more likely one or more coils is faulty. Be sure to check for any oil or water contamination as well when replacing any.
