Hi Everyone:

I have a 2004 Jaguar Stype ..Just wondering if anyone has ever repaired corrosion rot on the frame where the subframe connects above the rear wheels...I have a lot of rot corrosion there that needs attention.. I am going to take it to a Body Shop to get a price to cut out the bad steel and weld up....I am assuming I have to be concerned with the Subframe lining up with the new steel and welds.. please share your experience if anyone here did this work...I know corrosion is a problem with any car, especially on salted roads...since I got the car 8 years never winter driven...The original owner did not rust proof the car...rust seems to be a problem...I undercoat the car as well.
