None I had anything to do with (seriously). I was referring mainly to private aircraft but in all contexts, keep in mind that aircraft fly safely in spite of people, not because of them. I've ranted separately about owners second guessing OEM instructions, no need to repeat it.

Again, back on topic, there's nothing remotely 'rocket scienceish' about brake rotors. A simple visual inspection accompanied by adequate visual examples of acceptable vs. unacceptable with guidelines for rework or scrap are all that is necessary to safely evaluate condition.

If you want to learn about owner or shop induced brake mtce. nightmares, go to one of the C2 or C3 Corvette websites and read up on the blind leading the blind.

S-type brakes are pretty well idiot proof compared to those.

Which airlines should you avoid? My answer is "All of them"....

Personal note: I have not set foot on a commercial airliner since February 1995, and plan to keep it that way for the rest of my life....

WOW that would be tough for me but everyone has a reason for that and respect it. I used to fix airframes for Lear jets and falcons. I love planes but hate going on them. I feel you lol But by all means if I had the time to travel then the US in car then I would, one thing I love is driving

I see that you have a 2003 but he has a 2006. I remember seeing a lot of the 2006=>2008 non Brembo listings when I was sourcing info last summer so I don't imagine he's going to have trouble finding them just as long as they know which ones to send.
