Cranks and dies immediately
Hello,
I've recently bought a Jaguar S Type R Supercharged V8 4.2l from 2004 (December), the car was running when I bought it, had the famous restricted performance though. The owner said it had a issue at the Oxygen Sensor (which he changed but I doubt it) and it had a P1339 code issue which he said he kept clearing with the OBD but kept coming back up. Anyone faced this issue before? I tried changing batteries (Removed the old one, put the once I have in my S Type 3.0l which is a 100AH 860A. But to no avail, same issue.
Many thanks.

If there is no fuel pressure when you perform the test, check the fuse and power to the pumps. The main pump is on the RH side.
Another possibility is the CPK, which sends a message to the PCM indicating that the crankshaft is turning. If the CPK fails, the PCM shuts off power to the fuel pumps.

I feel like a complete moron, turns out the car had no fuel (Fuel gauge was showing that it had half, but in reality nada 0) so I went and bought 98 Octane fuel put some in the fuel reservoir, it sparked like a Spitfire in the 2nd WW, error is still there but thank god it was just the fuel, I bought the car recently so yeah, I am trying to figure her out and see what ails her, but once I get her registered I will take her to the dealer and figure the lass out.
Cheers lads!
P.S: The previous owner told me it had half a fuel tank (Yeah thanks for that lie buddy) so hence why I did not bother checking if it had any fuel, but after trying to crank her a bit more, I came to the conclusion that the gauge might be faulty and I should try 5l of Petrol in the tank. Will keep you up to date once I take her to the dealer to fix the errors after I registre my missus!
