Dash Kit
Hey Everyone!
This is my first post on the forum...
I was wondering where I could find a double din dash kit for my 2003 S-type. I have sound system I want to have installed and I want to order the kit so I'll have it when I'm ready to the whole system installed.
I'm going to have the following installed as soon as I get a chance:
Eclipse AVN726E
4 Eclipse SE5700's
Eclipse EA4200 4.Channel Amp
Eclipse XA1200 1 Channel Amp
Eclipse SW6210 12inch Sub
Also, are there any specific wire harnesses I have to get so the installation place doesn't have to order any extra parts?
Ive added some pictures of the whole system still in the box...

Check out the Metra 99-9501B - I've just ordered one. http://www.installer.com/item/displa...9501BCan't comment on fit and finish yet, as it's still in transit to the UK.

Please read this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...t=14137&page=3.
I ordered one 99-9501b but I switched over to 99-9500. Now, I'm debating whether I want to order and get 99-9501b for simplier install.

I just posted pics of the 99-9501b I just got in the thread. That's the one you want if you're looking to go double din.
Here's the wiring harness you can use (You need to cut off the one piece of this, but it will leave the car unmolested and give you all the connections which you need).

Hey Deja:
Just a question for you, why are you running 5x7 speakers? The 03 Stype has 6.5 components in the front, and 6.5" rears.
My next stages are a 6.5 component set in the front, and adding my sub to the car.
But that's gonna wait for the spring when it's warm enough to do it comfortably.
Take care,
George
