Ok I am going to chime in here.... King, what Joyce and I spent on our '05 42,000 mile S a year and a half ago was below what you are willing to pay. Aside from the flight to Fl and gas driving her back 750 miles ($360.00), we have put OMT, valve, oil pan gaskets, a front wheel bearing, and a battery (totalling $498.00 in parts) I have done all labor. I have learned you get what you pay for.

The moral is if you are willing to accept this, is that you will enjoy the vehicle and all the ooh's and ahh's from your friends, family and peers!

I agree. Spend a little more and get the best vehicle that you can afford. I waited a long time to find my Cuda. I got the right one and am happy!!

if I'm going to spend anymore then 12-13k on a 2005 then I should be buying a 2006. I know the market prices for the car that dealers sell for vs what the dealer paid which is the actual price..

10-13k is more then enough to cover a 2005 v6.

I would buy that in a second if it was here in canada. Unfortunately I can't go all the way to the usa, the shipping price to get it back here is going to cost too much. and then reselling a us model vehicle in canada will also be hard. god damn it, let me find my car so i can post the pics here

No he's not. I believe that he wants a V6. Again, I recommend that you call the local Jag dealership, tell them what you want and how much you want to pay. They have access to the dealership network that has all Jags available (from a Jag dealer) across Canada.

I called John Scotti and they say that there are 21 2005 S-Type V6s available!
