Default Dccv

Hello
I am having ahoorible time to trying to remove my DCCV on my 2004 S type R.I have bee3n trying to go in through above and have some hoses removed.Big job.i cant seem to figuer out how to remove the connector for the expansion tank.I am thinkign of takign the car off the ramps and trying to go in though the wheel well?any help woudl be greatly apppreciated.

The bottom of the expansion tank has a metal clip that is shaped like a U, need to pull it out from the bottom of the U. I think the bottom is pointing to the left and the sides of the U are on the top and bottom. After you remove the expansion tank, the screw that holds the DCCV should be accessable from the top. The flap on the side of the well well is a major PIA to remove.

I had my wheel well liner off some time ago and could see the DCCV but I really don't think I could have worked on it at all. I guess you could shine light on it, but that would be about all.

It's all done from the top down. Check forum search feature for access and replacement of DCCV.
