Did you disconnect the battery when you serviced the gearbox because the codes relate to the voltage
P0560 system voltage malfunction.
Possible causes Low battery charge
Battery defective Loose or missing
Alternator drive belt Faulty alternator Op
Open or short system voltage circuit

P1643 CAN ECM / TCM Network Malfunction
Control Area Network (CAN) open circuit fault – TCM to ECM CAN short circuit fault Faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM) Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM

so start by checking the battery voltage etc. Then see if there is any battery drainage indicating a short circuit.

Check all the electrical connections that you moved or disconnected.
electrical faults can be very irritating to find the cause but as the car was running correctly before you serviced it. It will relate to a cable that you moved.

I was once disconnected the battery and when I started the car later everything was ok but 10 mins later when I tried to drive the car nothing worked. It was found to be the earth connection was not quite tight enough but it looked and felt ok.

I did not disconnect the battery. This is what's leading me to believe that I possibly blew a fuse. I have reseated the sleeve and plug so this is my new goal, to find the location of the fuse. I have the electrical diagrams, JTIS and every other document I can find on the matter but as of right now I feel pretty dumb because I can't make heads or tails of the electrical diagrams. I looked at every suggested place but just can't figure out which fuse in which box to check. I may just be overwhelmed with all of this. Just frustrated. I really do appreciate all of the help and suggestions.

Ok let's us try to deal with one problem at a time.

Check the battery change it has to be over 12.6 volts.

Open the JTIS program
press on the doc button.

go to + pxxxx press +
Obd

powertrain v6,v8 from vin m62936
press
Abode reader look for p0560

look at the monitoring condition.

You can also use the Obd scanner to check the voltage from the alternator.

I have a copy of all the PDF files. My problem is not being able to follow them. I'm not very mechanically inclined. But I can follow instructions.

Also, what if it's as simple as I blew a fuse? Shouldn't I check that before going into all the tests? Forgive me if that's the wrong way of thinking.

According to that wiring diagram, the fuse for the TCM is in the front power distribution fuse box, fuse 33 which is a 15amp. Cant hurt to check.

I didn't think about the fuse as the code was saying short circuit but it is always worth checking it.

Okay folks. I am kicking myself. It was the fuse! Something as simple as disconnecting the battery before performing any kind of work could have save me so much stress. I appreciate you guys and your help and suggestions so much. You don't know how relieved I feel right now.

I've still got some work to do under the hood -
•Valley hose
•DCCV
•Thermostat
•Belts
And I need to figure out where the oil that is getting on the belts causing them to squeal is coming from. But I am ecstatic right now.

Again thank you all
Benji
