hey everyone, i just got a question about the different types of petrol. here in aust. we have 91 95 and 98 octane petrol.. the recommended one for my s type is 95... which i use all the time.... and occasional the 98.. but i read for other peoples thread here that its ok to use the 91 octane... does it ruin the engine at all? i know theres a bit of power loss when i tried 91. but i guess if ur just cruising and not racing anyone it wouldnt matter.. but i was just wondering does the fuel consumption differ? cos its actually much cheaper on 91 rather than 95...

There is a recent (a month ago?) long thread with lots of "discussion" about this very topic. So have a look for it.
