Default Which discs?

Hi, I have a few music files that I would like to burn to disc so that I can play them in my 2000 4.0 S Type. I have tried burning them to a CD-RW and have tried both Flac and MP3 but the disc is rejected by the cd player, so before I go and buy some CD-R's I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone had the same problem and if the S Type could play CD-R's.

Try raw files.

I don't know many car stereos that can read FLAC, but your car doesn't support mp3. I'm not sure if a CD-RW will work, but a CD-R will. I believe as long as you close the session on the RW disc, it should work. As JagV8 said, burn your music as raw data. In other words, your mp3s must be converted to uncompressed data when written to disc. iTunes and other programs can do this automatically.

CD players should read WAV files (it's what you get from a factory produced CD).

The player doesn't read CD-RW's just CD-R's I believe...I had bought a 50 pack of CD-RW's just to find out they didn't work
