If it was 1995 it's not going to matter in terms of the 2003-on S-Type. Back in 1995 car computers were not so complex by a long way. By 1999 the S-Type PCM was twin 16-bit CPUs and by 2003 twin 32-bit CPUs. We know they can be reflashed (reprogrammed) and have the tools to do it but as yet no editors for the maps etc in the files. The tools for the older cars don't generally as yet handle our cars. Some expensive ones may do (evidence appears to be nil).
