1. Intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets.
2. Spark plugs and coil packs (all 6).
3. 2 din aftermarket stereo install.
4. New shocks (all 4).
5. Replaced both catalytic converters.
6. control arms, tie rods and so on.
7. Door panels and misc. trim replacements.
Hey man... Where to find your "how To" guides/vids? Are they on youtube? or other site??

I honestly cant remember the model number to the dash kit, it was for a kia or something. Last i checked they dont make one. I had to modify the closest double didn i could find. The harness can be found on ebay.

Maybe you can help. Have a 2000 s type 4.0 v8 97k miles. I know i have a bad coil on cylinder 5, it did start normally throught the last few months. When the car reached operating temperature then the #5 coil would miss and idle rough. Just recently the car had issues firing up as it used too. after 3rd try it fired up. Now it won't start at all. Checked and tested every fuse and the two diodes. All good. Fuel pump relay is good, and battery has good charge. I checked fuel pressure on the rail and noticed no pressure. Replaced the fuel pump, still wont start....cranks no proplem, but no start. Have battery voltage at the fuel pump with ignition in "ON" position, but dont hear it run. Got a message on dash "FUEL COMPUTER DATA ERROR". Hooked up my OBD reader and got "NO LINK" message on reader. I know it worked before becaue thats how i found the misfire code and reset the MIL. Now I wonder if the PCM may be the problem.... Ive been told this happens in the Lincoln LS. Need some answers to get this car running again. If you have any thoughts, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi Gillian
The 2 links directly below give the parts from the UK. If you just google the part numbers, you will get more part options.

I have not had to do this repair.

Jaguar ACTUATOR FOR FUEL FILLER RELEASE - XR857532
Jaguar FUEL FILLER BOWL HOUSING - XR851823

This link has information and photos of a repair with part numbers.

S Type fuel filler cap repair How-To

Finally, this link below is a discussion on the forum on your problem.

Good luck
Paul

Not likely the PCM. Suspect everything else.

Just clearing codes is NOT a fix...

Hi,
I have the same 2000 Jag S-Type 3.0 with about 95,000 miles on her. I'm getting DTC codes of P0171 and P0174.
Have you had similar Check Engine Light issues. I'm hoping the problem is fuel or sensors and not injectors.
I'm new to this forum(and forums in general) so not sure where to look for a reply. I've added my email if that is easier: richardinseattle@gmail.com
Thanks, Richard

There are lots of posts about your codes, with actions, so just follow them - and please don;'t revive an ancient thread.
