The problem was found with luck...lol
I needed to replace the PS DCCV valve. it was stuck on cooling. so the PS had no heat in the winter..
and after I replaced it the heat was still not working. and after doing a little searching on that I found that those valve's can take out the A/C control module some how.
I was able to find one in a junk yard that was in real good condition so I removed to old one. while I was waiting on the other one to get here.. and i was kinda supprized that the car would run with out it.
So I hooked my laptop and the only code's being displayed at that time was every single code for the A/C... then after installing the new A/C module I did a hard reset on all system's then fired it up.. checked the heat and A/C out and both are working good now.
I let the car run to warm up completely and I ended up letting it run for about 2 hours waiting for the code's but it never did it when before it would take about 30 to 45 minutes and it would cut out..
and since then I have put about 1200 miles on the car and it is still running strong..
last saturday we took it down to Balmorhea,TX... about 260 miles one way from lubbock..
But honestly if I had not had a bad DCCV valve I probably would have never found it eather...

It was a pain the but first off...
after doing my research on the issue. I found that any module in the car can cause it do this. and also any wire connection in the communication loop in the car can cause this as well..
Down load JTIS you can find it in the forums and find get the plug locations and wiring diagrams for your make and model.
Go through them all and make sure there all in good shape and clean any dirt or water out of them.. The issue with mine turned out to be the A/C control module.
It took me about 6 weeks to luck into fixing the problem.

Congrats on finding the problem! As a fellow jaggernaut that has been bitten (an almost eaten) by the dreaded limpus modicus virus, I continue to be amazed about the variety of unrelated problems that can throw this car into limp mode. The only thing more amazing is the lack of experience Jag dealer techs have in diagnosing the real problem when it is outside of the standard throttle body, MAF, gas pedal, and battery scenarios.
Good job.
Good job.
