Dang! That STR sounds mean. So you gained a few ponies. Now it's time for a 3 lb. pulley.

Nice increase in performance and what I'd expect for an exhaust mod. Could you detail again precisely what was changed? I know you're keeping stock piping size.

Huh?

HP was up 1.7% Tq was up 2.7% . Not to be a jerk, but that falls within normal variations of 'different day' dyno runs on cars with no mods performed.

Note: Stock* = Mina cat back since original exhaust was damaged when a pizza driver hit the rear of my vehicle. Track runs showed no performance increase/decrease with the Mina system.

I want to warn everyone again, this system is loud! More hillbilly horsepower than "real" horsepower has been achieved.

Parts List:

Stock Resonator Removed
Mina Exhaust, 2.25"

Yup--so-called performance exhaust systems have to be the absolute worst bang for the buck of any modification. Over on the Corvette forum that I frequented when I had my 95, there was never a shortage of guys who would end up complaining about too much noise and resonance inside the car after spending big $ for an aftermarket exhaust system.
