Dynomax VT mufflers killed the Drone
Since popping on Magnaflow hi-flow cats nearly three years ago, there has been an unbearable cabin drone that eventually caused a moderate case of tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Sure, the authoritive rumble enhanced my already waning testosterone level, but having a sensible conversation and/or listening to the stereo "was" a luxery only afforded with the motor off. I tried all sorts of combo's of mufflers, etc. but to no avail.
Finally came along Walker's Dynomax VT mufflers. These have a specially tuned spring loaded flap near the outlet. Today, following the 16" resonators are a pair of Dynomax VT mufflers. These definitely solved cabin drone. In fact, the entire system is a perfect meld of blower with a hint of exhaust prowess, no drone. The cabin is quiet save a small hint of thunder in all throttle positions and load. Jump on it, and you got a tame authoritive note without interior drone when under a load. I'm happy and definitely recommend to all.

...Dang bro after sooo long you finally got it done! , glad to hear it toned it down for your hearing Just be careful I heard stories that the spring after awhile gets locked up meaning stays open the whole time, lolz..I was going to get it but unfortunately a friend of mine got his whole exhaust done and threw on the VT mufflers;with in a few months he complained about the loud noise coming out of the exhaust all the time and droning due to the spring being locked open. Eventually he got the VT mufflers removed because he didnt want to deal with it happening on a new set. Good luck chico hopefully you'll have better luck with them. I had the same setup you did before you threw on the VT mufflers and I didnt have that bad of a drone, It is just a very loud sound like someone smacked a Jaguar in the *** Growl only on Open Throttle

I really like the dyno max mufflers.
You can buy a 3" SS straight threw muffler for less than half what an Apex n1 or other ricer mufflers cost.
A long time ago I had a 3" straight threw setup on my modded Eagle Talon TSi AWD. 3" down pipe, cat, and n1 muffler with no resonator. It sounded mean a hell when I put it on, but after six months I just couldn't take it on long fwy trips.
After that I learned to stick with 3" setups, but tone the extra noise down with a resonator and better mufflers. If I wanted a super aggressive exhaust I would pay for a cut out I can close it 99 percent of the time.
