Question Electric Fan

2004 S-Type Jaguar, when I turn on AC the compressor the clutch engages for a few second than stop. The electric doesn’t kick on. The fan act like it want to move but don't. With the AC on the Temperature will go above normal. With AC off it go back to normal setting.

You're low on a/c charge. Check for leaks and/or go to auto parts store and pick up inexpensive charge kit, charge her up (you'll likely need 3 bottles of a/c charge). The low pressure port is below the driverside front wheel, facing the ground. You'll have to get on your back to see it. Again, 2-3 bottles should do it.

Does your fan ever turn ON in stop-and-go traffic? If yes, you are good to go and bfsgross has very likely lead you down the correct path for solving your problem. He has been very helpful to me and others on this forum in solving problems.

If the radiator fan never turns ON, you may need to check the fuses that run the fan. There are two fuses located under the hood, on the passenger side, under a plastic cover (Fuse 38 is 10Amps and Fuse 13 is 80Amps).

If the fuses are okay you may need a new fan. The fans apparently do not fail often but mine did on my 2005 STR with 55K miles.

Cool

Reference Time Slip: 2005 Jaguar S-Type R Timeslip Scan - DragTimes.com

Yes it is me. This was my best run on a cool day against a BMW M60 M5. As you can tell by the time slip, he did not hook up (60'=2.5sec) and I luckily did (60'=1.9sec). Also, look at his 507hp V10's mph (114mph) - - - I was a mere (106mph). After the traps he caught me and kept his foot in it and flew by me at what seemed 120mph.
He was not happy and the rest of his runs were in the 12s.

A more 'typical' run during the hot summer without the spare and very little gas in the tank is 13.3 to 13.5 sec at 103 to 104 mph.

I'm not quite sure if you're saying that the cabin temperature of the car is increasing due to lack of A/C or the engine temperature is increasing due to the cooling fan not working. Or both.
