Default Electrical problem

Help i have an s type 2005 2.7 sed, I'm having problems with electrics, when indicating both indicator and reverse light flash , when I turn engine of reverse lights come on, go off when I open boot. Any ideas ????

Trace wires & check for chafing / breaks - especially where they flex e.g. at boot lid hinge.

Thanks for that I have checked what wiring I could all looks really good, I also started to undo the negative lead from battery but it started sparking as I loosened the nut ? Is this normal?

Dears ,


I have Jaguar 2011 SAJDKAMS4BC789563 - Engine not cranking at all and also reverse light , park lamp , head light , all the light system inop . Shift lever stuck up in p position .
Please help me know the problem

its probably the bolts that hold the cable at the gearbox end have come loose a bit and stopping the cable from moving. It a common problem. Most people check them and tighten them every oil change.
