Default Electrical problems

have 2003 Jaguar S-Type we're working with, confailulations

seems the battery was being changed to a new battery, by accident when tightening the Positive lead the wrench touched a ground and it sparked

now the fuse box in the trunk makes a clicking sound and there no power the vehicle (Headlights, ignition, seats ect.). Main fuse in the trunk is still intact

Fuse box in trunk show 12V
however fuses in the Engine Bay and Interior (Passenger) fuse box shows 5V

which is unusual, can someone point me in the correct direction?

have you tried a full reboot , by disconnecting the earth lead , wait a min . then touch the earth strap to the positive lead for 30sec , then wait a min and reconnect the earth strap to the battery , reset park brake via message center instructions and reset stereo , make sure you have any stereo codes if required prior to reboot .

The earth lead is the negative cable attached to the battery.

The reboot mentioned above is a 'faint hope clause' that only has a 1% chance of working unfortunately. It's more likely that you've fried one or more modules.

The error of inadvertently touching the positive terminal to ground is one we see over and over here. The golden rule is to never go near the positive terminal if the negative cable is attached to the battery.

+1 on connecting the earth lead last so this situation is avoided.

Refer to the vehicle Owner's Manual for fuse identification and location, then check all fuses before going further. Report back here with the results.
