Default Engine swap / 4.0 V-8 Flex plate missing / new engine

Ok , here is my question , my new replacment engine is missing the flex plate that attaches torear of engine to bolt to torque converter , When i reomove my old one from old engine to reinstall on new engine , is there any way to attach it 180 degree off , making this a huge problem if i have to repull engine to fix . IM hoping there is no way to install wrong ??

im swapping replacement engine 4.0 from a 2002 jagaur s type. old motor 4.0 was a 2001 s type ,thx forthe help. Scott

If your referring to the flywheel I would think it would be keyed so it can only go on one way. I would call a dealer and talk to a tech.
