Chill out
What is it with you guys in northern climates at Christmas?
I have just posted my sadness at the outbreak of open warfare on the US/Canadian border - see nearby thread - then swing by here to find two lads from "the auld dart" swinging punches at each other.
Why not save your agro for your poor pommy cricketers who are out here getting monstered not only by the Australians - but by your own stalwart expert commentators. Hohohoho
It really is a pitiful trend that is debasing these forums - perhaps your freezing weather does something to the the little grey cells. There is no wit in it; no humour - just spiteful bravado.
I believe it's high time for the Moderators to tread heavily.

Aw shucks JagV8,
I still tread softly when I hear the name "Freddy Flintoff". Boyo, he tore us apart big time - back then we were smacked bad.
So Steve_Jagger, they still play cricket in your county? Hey, what say we chuck all the weird stuff back in the kit bag, and pad up with yer Yorkie pal to come "say hello to a convict" instead.
We don't have the luxury of ice, snow, blizzards, avalanches and glaciers, but then Santa doesn't freeze his onions off while he delivers all those shiny new Jaguar bits. I have so enjoyed and learned from posts from each of you, so give us a hand to get the bar back up there.
Best wishes

Gud Day, What's your favourite colour blue?
What's ya name Sheila?
Is that spring natural bill? Its about a s natural as a budgie in a Billabong Bruce!
No cricket where I come from (Poofs). Just bare knuckle fighting, Bantam fighting, Badger baiting, fox hunting, rugby, nose biting, Jock hurling, pin your finger nail to the dart board, (Better known as chicken) and beast punching. These are just a few of our local sports up north in the boarder country. what's cricket?

Ah Steve, you left out the best - an Australian male's idea of "foreplay" ... "Well?"
Why am I not surprised that bare knuckle fighting is a favoured past-time. I gotta say that, with your wit, pugilism is a wasted sport. Even with an ole bugga like me, your humorous outlook is refreshing.
It's important to me that chaps like you and JagV8 remain accessible - I am ready to purchase a 2007/8 full Luxury pack (VDP?). Liquid Silver on Beige&Tan fitted with Mercury rims and upgraded re-mapped 2.7L V6 Twin Turbo Intercooled Diesel.
Wow! am I going to need all your help ... both of you ... and anyone else in Europe who knows about these cars. No X-Type transfer case; no spark plugs or COPs; catalytics?; and I guess a whole raft of different engine codes?
Start a new thread? Or join the UK Forum? Or am I just mad?

The diesel discussion is here now https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...angels-108691/ if you want to continue.
Let's try and stay vaguely on topic.
Is cricket some kind of game?

Be sure to google terms like "engine oil dilution", "engine destruction" and "engine runaway". (All problems with diesel S-Types).

Thread was cut by Norri at an odd place but my comment about the 2,7D engine is in it: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...angels-108691/ (Not a title I'd have chosen.)

I'll confess to not spending more than half a second considering a thread title.
