EPB Problem

Over the weekend, I noticed that my car is making an occaional noise.
Upon further inspection I discovered that the springs holding the EPB back are getting weak.
Is there anywhere to source the springs? I stopped by the dealer and they are not sold seperately from the $560 calipers.
Ive been searching online and have come up empty handed.
Any ideas?

Normal dont worry. The EPB is electric so there is an electric motor that applies the parking brake. It applies it everytime you remove the key also. Your red brake light should be illuminated until you put it in drive which is when the motor disengages it. If you hold the switch to disengage it while you pull the key it should not apply it. So in that case the light should not be illuminated.

I keep finding thenfull caliper assemblies even found how to rebuild the EPB caliper but zilch on the return spring I can't believe that the dealership nor brembo would have that part easily accessible. Finding a wrecked StR for springs doesn't seem like a good option since fatigue may already weaker them as well.

I was thinking the pad spring also. If its that spring have you tried taking it off and bending it the other way to make it tighter. I wonder if there is some place that may have a machine or some thing to make it tight again.
