Default Exhaust tips

Mine are a bit stained from carbon build up, thinking about replacing them. I measured them as 8.25" from the box. Anyone replace theirs? I'm thinking titanium burnt tips, HPF makes some but I'm not sure if they are long enough. Anyone got any idea or suggestions?

Dang! Mike I like your Jaguar. It sits "beastly" and green is the way to go. Mine runs 4" magnaflow s/s slanted/rolled tips.

There was a 15-20mph headwind, so my best was 145.

I bought some Milltek Sport tips from another forum member. They were originally for an XKR but my local muffler shop had no problem adapting them to the STR. I always thought the stock tips looked a bit anemic for this car.

Agreed, stock tips leave much to be desired, they remind me of 'bellflower' tips you would see on a classic,

Your new milltek tips look great man, post some more pics though of the whole rear end so we can get a better idea what it looks like,

Seeing this thread is about 'tips', here is a shot of mine with the mina mufflers...

Cat Man Do, I think those are the tips I thought about buying before going elsewhere. I purchased a pair of Magnaflow 3.5" tips but haven't had a chance to get them installed (still have the bare 2.25" metal from my muffler delete). I'll post up pics when its done, hopefully this week.

Nice, tips look a lot more aggressive yet factory like.

Do you like that V8 badge over an R badge on the trunk?

I see you have an NB miata in the garage too, very nice, I have an NA miata as well. 2.0L GT35R setup, <600whp, my baby,

My R badges were very faded when I bought the car last year. I took them off and replaced the one on the boot with the V8 badge. I like the way it looks. The NB Miata was my Christmas gift to my wife last year. It is fun to drive, but in a different way from the Jag.

Finally got my Magnaflow 3.5" tips on today. I probably wouldn't mind them sticking out another 1" or so, but overall I'm happy with them. Sorry about my camera from the '90s:

I agree. When the shop was installing mine, I had to stand right there while they were getting ready to weld them on and tell them I wanted to be able to actually see them. LOL.

As many times as I've hacked up my exhaust in the last year, this setup might be short lived anyways. I've been pondering a Mina or similar muffler setup for some time.
