extended warranty (3rd party warrantee warranties)
I've started searching for an extended warranty for my 2000 s-type, and I've come across many companies. (a jaguar warranty is no longer an option)
So my question is, if you use a 3rd-party warranty provider, who is it? How is the service? Any problems or concerns?
I've found a few that appear great, but then I do a little more research, and most seem to have difficulties fulfilling their promises...
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

I too am looking for a 3rd party warranty . . there are a couple of companies in Ohio that look good on the surface, reasonable in price and their BBB record is not terrible. Just use caution, check out the company with their local BBB (bbb.com), see if they provide a copy of contract prior to purchase, review it and use your legal beagle if necessary. Protect yourself first . . I am considering asking some local Big 3 dealers who they sell their used car extended warranties through . . figure they don't want trouble, so I would assume they deal with reputable 3rd party companies. . . let me know if you find one . . .

I found this company, Auto Repair Warranty http://www.autorepairwarranty.com/index.htm during my search.
It seemed really impressive, so I called, and got a quote, which was roughly $1900 for 4 years and 54,000 Miles. The gentleman I spoke with seemed very friendly, and very helpful.
I decided to do a little searching on the company, to check other peoples experience. Well, then I found this, http://arw.14.forumer.com/ a forum created by people who have had (poor) experiences with this company.
So, has anyone here dealt with this company? Experiences? Recommendations?
This has scared me off this company, so my search continues...

as a Jag tech for 11 years the number 1 company that comes to my mind with the fewest problems we see and actually pays for repairs instead of coming up with BS reasons to deny repairs is Easy Care, but with anything you decide on, look at the contract, and whats not covered!!! dont go by what they tell you, only whats in print as thats what they go by when it comes to shelling out money, not what the person selling the contract told you

A lot of times if your car is older that 4 or 5 years they wont sell you bumper to bumper coverage.. but I would call a few and get them to send you their contracts and check them out and compare.. I have one on my car, but I can't recall which company i have.. My car is covered to 115,000 miles and 5 years i think...
Also be wary of anything in the contract that talks about only repairing your car only if you have a catastrophic or complete mechanical breakdown.. What theyre saying is that unless your engine blows up, or you transmission goes pop, your fixing all the little stuff on your own...

I bought one from http://aaautowarranty.com/but haven't used it yet. I am nervous, but don't know why. I guess I am more worried about the Jag dealer ripping me off than the warranty. I think my plan was about $2300.00 and covers the car from 52K to 110K over 4 years. I wanted to leave a buffer if I sell later.
