Default External Temperature Reading

On my interior screen for my air conditioning/heater, it displays the external temperature. it is reading wrong..today it is 80degrees and it display 40. question where is the sensor located...can it be replace or any other thoughts on how to fix...thanks

I believe it is behind the front bumper (fender) and is cheap and easy to change.

If you look up you will just see the bottom end of a cone shaped thing, just pull that down to unplug from the connector which is fixed to the metalwork. When removed it looks a bit like a spark plug. Less than £4 inc tax from a UK dealer when I replaced mine.
