Default Fellow Mafioso intake users...

Just giving you guys a heads up to check your intake hoses as I put on new wipers today and this is what I found. While removing it to go back to stock since the auto parts stores are closed I broke the valve cover hose also. Looks like I'll be up at the store tomorrow. Glad I have my stock stuff hanging in the garage and not buried somewhere. Also noticed my other hose looks to be melting a little from the heat. I really need to get a low temp thermostat. I'm running a 1.5 pulley now so I probably have a little more heat coming from the engine. Might be able to do cats and exhaust in the next month so hopefully that will help some also. So just keep your eyes peeled guys. This didnt throw a check engine or anything also so who knows how long it was like this.

This was the top hose before the runner. I think it was hitting on my hood liner and pushing it down which may of caused the rip.

Thanks Chris - I checked mine as part of my oil change last weekend - still looks good. I've kept the stock intake setup in the trunk since I changed intakes, just in case. Maybe I'll leave it there awhile longer.
