Default Fires in Oz

Wondering if any of our S-Type brethren in Australia are effected by the fires west of Sydney. They're getting a lot of press here in the US and they seem really bad...

We are in Adelaide, some 1400kms away, kind of SW.

Today is D Day for the fire guys/girls, as HOT NW winds nudging 100+kph are forecast, and that could join 3 of the big blazes into a mega fire (300km + fire front} and basically unstoppable.

Those NW winds will blow it closer to Sydney, so SCARY is simply not enough.

With our wet and windy weather here in the UK can't imagine what it's like for you? Lets hope they die out sooner rather than later keep smiling.
