I picked up my car yesterday morning and had to head straight to work so couldn't really give it a good test so decided to pick the girlfriend up after work and take her to brighton. I did about 50 miles yesterday and have to say, what a car!!! Soooo much nicer than anything i have ever driven. I couldn't fault it one bit until i droped the gf off at her house and started the 10 mile drive home in the dark and noticed the little airbag light on the passenger side was on and as it was dark, it was a bit distracting. The wierd thing is, when i left for work this morning, the light was off. I guess this is normal but does anyone know what it is?

When the light is on it means the passenger airbag is disabled. For instance, if you place a package that weights several pounds on the passenger seat, the SRS thinks it is a small child and will turn the bag off. The spacial sensors also detect distance of passengers from the bags and if too close will disarm the bag.
I don't know what caused yours to disarm but if the light is out now, I wouldn't worry about it.
