Hey, every forum gets their share of enraged lunatics. They break up the monotony and provide us with some chuckles every now and then. Actually, I was hoping this clown would be able to hang around a bit longer before he finally blew a fuse and got banned. Ticking him off was like taking candy from a baby....

Perhaps we startled him.

I guess he thought he's the only person here to see combat or ride a Harley. I don't know how well he'd do in combat, as someone with his head up his *** would be an easy target.

But he did make me laugh, so kudos for that.

And here I thought that a Jaguar Enthusiast required sophistication as a pre-requisite for ownership...

Now, for everyone else's benefit:

1) Craigslist in a large enough city, or nearby, has plenty of listings for part-outs. Many times, the body panels are MINT, as is one (Engine OR transmission) element of the drivetrain. I've scored plenty of trim panels this way, along with newer (and clearer) headlights than mine.

2) EBay. Some "recyclers" strip and catalog useable parts, and are willing to ship.

3) Independent repair shop that specializes in Jaguars - there's one particular that buys up some non-running examples, and uses them for repair donors. Gotta be one or two of these in every Metro area.
