Default flush fit valves

hey all a little help please,

i have the 18" bbs monaco wheels with the flush fit valves, this is my 1st expereince with flush fit valves.

Anyway i went to inflate the tyres as the dealer that i collected it from cleary didnt bother checking the correct tyre pressures, anyways i screwed in the filler tubes ( if thats the correct term?) and attached the air hose at my local tesco and all that happened was all the air in my tyre came out i couldnt for the life of me get air into the tyre.

Cut a long story short drove to another fuel station with 12 psi in my tyre and managed to inflate all tyres even though it took me around 20 minuites really frustarted me big time as the air kept going in 2 psi then out 7 then in etc until i finally managed to get the correct pressures. Well i hope they are correct as after all this messing around not sure how acurate my pressures are now.

so people please help me out whats going on here?

Try a different valve?

Others have said those wheels are a nightmare.

Yes. Or swap the wheels, which I know has been done.

Flush fit valves are a bit strange. In case you have not seen them before here is what they look like. I have never had a set so am unsure about filling?
