Fog light adjustment

99 model but may work with later models.
I've found a way to adjust the fog lights up a bit. The factory setting is so low they are all but useless.
As far as I can tell the adjuster screw on the fogs just moves them left or right a bit, so I investigated further.
Unclip the removable body coloured strip that runs between the fog lights, it's just 3 1/4 turn plastic screw things that hold it on.
Remove the 2 black plastic shrouds inboard of each fog light. These are held on by the strip you just removed.
The fogs are bolted in with 2 star type bolts but the correct sized allen key will undo these.
Unbolt and stick a plastic washer on the lower bolt between the fog and the car mounting point. I needed 2 washers on one side but just one on the other the even the beams up. Put it back together.
Hey presto......perfectly adjusted fog lights (depending on how thick your washers are). 10 minute job.
The fogs on the S Type are very low down so should be great in thick fog as long as you dont have the headlights on at the same time illuminating the fog.
Sorry if this is obvious but I've done a lot of searching and couldn't find out how to do it and I just have to have well adjusted lights.
