Save Paying Import Duty!
Hi, If goods sent from the USA to the UK are marked as a "GIFT" as they would be in this case then there is generally no import duty or VAT (The EVIL European Union Tax) added! It can save the recipient a lot of money!.. I purchased an item sometime ago costing $60 and it cost me not only £8 in Import Duty and VAT but the Royal Mail would not deliver it because they had to collect this money so they had the audacity to charge me a further £8 for handling the package and collection of the Tax so my $60 purchase cost me a further $20 in taxes and handling fees!! So always mark exported goods as a GIFT it can save your UK Customers a lot of money!.. Cheers.. John

Good advice - I've been hit with UK Customs charges in the past with parcels from the US. US Customs don't appear to treat parcels from the UK in the same way.
Caldoofy is in Northern England so no Customs involvement if the winner happens to be in the UK.
