The tube removes the turbulance causing resonance chambers and corrugated section of the standard plastic inlet hose the result being that it provides smoother less restricted airflow into the cast intake section, think of it like porting and flowing a cylinder head its easier to pull the air in.

Reports on similar (smaller diameter) tubes have shown modest power gains and by removing the resonance chambers the supercharger whine is released which is quite addictive!

The tube is the same size as the outlet of the airbox (80mm custom made) and is made of stainless steel it is easy to fit with limited tools.
