Default front bushings?

I took my baby in for replacement brakes, since wrong ones were pulled off, they told me lower byshings on both sides are completely shot, no idea what that is, or cost...
Anyone had this issue

GOOGLE /SEARCH, WHAT LOWER BUSHINGS ARE......and yes at 12/13 yrs.....id say more than likely, that is a do it yourself-job, but you would need some mechanical aptitude... just have them replaced,,, find a shop that will press new ones in and not try and sell you the whole strut...
