Front and Rear Parking control stopped working

Front and Rear Parking control stopped working
Hello All. 2005 S-Type VDP Edition. I noticed a few days ago that the rear parking alarm didn't sound as I backed into the garage. I'm so used to hearing the beep, beep, beep grow faster as I approach the wall, that I almost backed into it when it didn't sound. Then I noticed the front alarm stopped working as well. The switch on the overhead console doesn't light up when I press it and I get no alarm when someone comes a little too close at a red light. I went through the manual fuse location page and couldn't find anything that specifically listed parking control, either front or rear. Maybe it's called something else. I'm guessing there's a fuse that protects that module, but would both front and rear be on the same fuse? I have separate fuses for each turn signal. Anyone have this problem and would a fuse be the trouble in the first place or am I looking at a control module failure. And, again, would there be one control module for both front and rear or would they have separate modules. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

This could well be a faulty parking module that is located in the trunk.
The most common cause of this is water dammage from water getting into the trunk.
This module is on the left side of the spare wheel well.
Here is a link to the 2005MY onwards wireing diagrams that show the location:

Wow. Thank you. That's a really informative diagram. I haven't checked on it yet, but that's definitely a help. I first want to check if it's a fuse... (simplest fix). Thanks again. But having said that, does anyone know how to remove the primary junction fuse box cover in the passenger foot well? Not the outside cover. That's easy. Once I got the cover off, I see another black cover with all the fuse placements listed but can't figure out how to remove that. I've pulled and pushed and can't find any clips or tabs or anything holding it on. Thanks.

Check this link, search for the passenger compartment fuse box, fuse 29 seems to be the one you are looking for
I have the same problem, i haven't check mine, fuses in the passenger compartment box in mine are very hard to take out with the plastic fuse puller, i'll need a needle nose plyer to take it out
