Front and Rear Reflectors
#21
dlnga thanks for organising this. Based on their other products a full set of reflectors will be:
Reflectors - $180
Shipping - $68 (seems the only viable shipping option)
Smoked lenses - £$10
Total of $258, or £157. I'll have a think, but will more than likely go for it as I can sell the set of reflectors I'd already bought to pay for it..!
I'll post over at the UK forum to drum up some more interest.

no i thought an earlier poster said they saw them on the barret site....side note, i run an injection molding plant for a living, i have 4-5 reflector tools, we make those safety triangles that trucks put out when they break down....anyway the tooling expense for a new part is thousands of dollars, i really cant see what 15 guaranteed sales does to justify that type of expenditure... i have one mold that produces 45,000 reflectors a day.....their offer doesn't add up for me?

Woeowowo that is expensive! A can of Night shades, clear coat, and sandpaper shouldn't be more than $25 to $30. All you need is a few hours over the course of a weekend and that's it. If you dont sand and polish it correctly, it can look really bad, but if I can do it right so can everyone else. Use the search function and look for my how to guide.

That's a question that you would need to ask Tina St-Jean <info@klearz.com>; You have the knowledge of how these things are produced and I wouldn't mind hearing what their answer would be. Not that I doubt them, its just you've raised a point that I would never have thought about. Drop her an email and see what she says...Thanks...

Don't even worry about that. Not necessarily dead in the water yet. Just going to see what happens. In the meantime, I've already ordered the amber and red replacement lenses and bought all the stuff to do it myself and see how that goes...Pretty sure I'll be buying a couple of sets until I get it right. Just a little OCD here, factor in ADHD and I can get "laser focused" on projects.

I had an email yesterday informing about this group buy progress and requesting a set of OEM reflectors to be sent in to help manufacture - my set of reflectors on eBay then sold this morning.
Possibly a coincidence, but if someone in this group buy has just bought my set of reflectors to fulfil this purpose, let me know today so I can save you some postage by posting direct.....
