fuel gage 05 S Type
Hi everyone!
Here again with another question about my 05 S Model...posted the wrong car in subject, sorry.
As I posted a while back, I had new fuel put installed and since, after refueling the gage only shows 3/4 full.
Any suggestions, short of returning to shop that did the fuel pump install-----2 month waiting period-----would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Chuck

If it works and other than stopping there... it's most likely the float arm is physically being stopped or the variable resistor (or rheostat) is not working properly.
Since you paid to have the work done... there is a chance they did something to it when replacing the pump.
Also... once those variable resistor (or rheostat) stop working properly... they almost never work again. (I've never been able to repair one. Have to buy a replacement)
I'd suggest returning it asap
