Wink Full flow exhaust / ECM-Air/Fuel monitor

Hey guys; As many of you know, I've replaced my motor with a Jaguar re-manufactured 4.2L with the Snake Bite blower kit. I've also installed a full flow exhaust system using the existing piping and cutting/welding the new parts in place, as follows:

Here is what I installed:
Exhaust tips- 2 Magnaflow part # 35190 @ $73.23 x 2 = $146.46; Resonator- 2 Magnaflow part # 11226 @ $63.05 x2 = $126.10; Muffler -1 Magnaflow part # 11386 @ $80.29; "X" pipe- 1 Magnaflow part # 10791 @ $67.86; Cat Conv-2 Magnaflow part # 54976 @ $65.83 x 2 = $131.66
All parts ordered from www.performancepeddler.com (best pricing I could find. (This system barks on acceleration, but is not irritating at cruising - feels like substantially more power, but undocumented). I will visit the DYNO shop soon.

I also purchased the OT-2 (OBD II/ECM) monitoring sysetm and the LC-1 (Air/Fuel) oxygen sensor monitoring accessory from:
www.innovatemotorsports.com

I can monitor/data log ECM functions and air-fuel ratio with this system on either my laptop or my Iphone (there's an app for that) - Cool. It will even estimate my HP, and 60ft, 1/4 mile times and speed. (these are estimates)

If you shop on e-bay, I got this entire set-up (two different auctions) for about $320.00.

photos and video-sound clips to follow (weather permitting)

Welcome back Truman!!! Glad you hung in there and got the car all back together. Looking forward to your Dyno visit. Maybe the first "Snakebite" on a Jaguar to be tested. With stock STR's putting out about 330-340 RWHP. I can only guess what you are making now!!

...congrats!...just one question, did you do a hard ECU reset after doing the full Exhaust moD? ex. touching the negative battery terminal over to the positive terminal for hard reset?? Hard Reset due to the CAts re-calibrating to the new ones you installed in.

No, I didn't do a hard reset, but I have no DTC error codes either. Seems like everything is working fine.

Talking Exhaust photos & Sound clip

Okay guys, here it is; photos of the exhaust system, a video/sound clip, and the OT-2 install and readout. Whoops, I'll have to do the video/sound
clip over again. It's too big for upload (39MB)

I never got any DTC error codes either, but after doing the exhaust mod I noticed the STR was drinking more gas, but after the ECU hard reset, I noticed it was giving me better MPG. Just food for thought about doing the hard reset, just ask BFgross,

cheers.

ttwotees, def. do a hard reset after a mod of this magnitude. I've poked around the XJR and XKR forums and they re-set after pulley and an exhaust mods. The ECU will discard existing parameters and learn the new. One other thing, does the Magnaflow dual inlet/outlet resonator have an internal cross-over tube? If yes, then I wonder if this negates the productivity of the x-pipe?

That's right, 2-1/4". I bought 2.5" and had to weld in the annular spaces.

ttwotees, did you mean you did the welding? If yes...nice job radiusing the pipe from the cats down. The bends are smooth with very little angling. I'm eager to hear the interior/exterior sound clip.
