I've found the best way to check for superseded numbers is to look up each part number on a reliable Jag dealership website such as those below. They'll give you the latest superseded number for the part, plus the price of the part. It's a good baseline for shopping the part online at other sites like eBay, Amazon and the gazillion other parts sellers out there. And when other parts retailers don't carry a particular part, these guys most likely will have it.

Sorry, I don't have an easy way to answer this. The short answer is no, but someone else may chime in with a correction.

(First post) VIN Search greyed out
Firstly, a very big and sincere thank you for making this invaluable resource available. I have installed it under Windows 7 Ultimate with Seamonkey 2.47 64-bit as default browser, and all seems well other than the fact that the "VIN Search" button is greyed out and dysfunctional. Can you advise, please ?

Hi it works all right by me. I will check it later on my computer to see if it has capital letters too. I reinstalled about two weeks ago.

Happy to help. The electronic parts catalog download is now somewhat obsolete anyway, as Jaguar has superceded many part numbers over the years and those revisions are often not in the download.
I always find it best to look up part numbers using one of the online Jag dealerships that sells parts online, as their search engines will spit out the most up-to-date part number for your VIN, along with its price. So you get both the correct part number and a baseline price for the genuine Jag brand part. Then I start comparative shopping.

Thankyou for the help, much appreciated. The html link obviously works as it takes me to the log in page but it still will not log me in. I'm not too concerned as it's a parts list and I'm more interested in getting the workshop manual to install in my Win 10 64bit system.

buckMR2 and androulakis, very cool of you to have provided this!
Jaguar, very lame of you not to make this MUCH easier! Some other manufacturers put a pdf file online. You just download it and you're done.
And having scrolled through this thread, it seems like one of the many things that is doomed to not work on my PC :-( Hopefully dealer websites will - I'll start with that ...

Same Issue with Windows 10; password not working
To find where the JEPCIndex file is located, go to File Manager, and search for the name. It should show one or two files. Double click on either, and if you get to the next step showing the login screen, you have found the file route location for the icon to work properly.
It would be nice to have a current price list, but oh well...
Thanks, George!
