Your car is absolutely beautiful...
I LOVE that color. Love how aggressive the wheels look as well. Are you running H&R's on stock shocks? Are the wheels 19" or 20". I want close to the same look with my 03 3.0... can't afford an STR yet.
Also your side markers, is that just VHT night shades?
Thanks in advance,
George

The in fender side marker are not stock they were ordered from UK ebayer for a Ford Cougar. The front and rear bumper light are transparent black model car paint from Hobby Lobby. I think it was 5 a spray can. I am running 19's I wish I would have gone 20's, tire selection is better and therefore less expensive than 19's. The shocks are stock if I went aftermarket the price would have been obscenly expensive, would had gone with a coilover set by KW. Springs are H&R.

Let me know where they send there stuff. I have plans for headers and full exhaust job in March after the cold weather is over. For now I just have the supercharger pulley to install. I am also looking for an aluminum coolant tank to the replace the plastic one.

Very cool thread super_jag. I can't wait to see what's next. And thanks for sharing your stock dyno data. Looks like you used the same DynoJet package I use.
I especially liked the look of the last intake you did (post # 47). Along with turbocharger engineering, I've actually done design and engineering work on both OE factory induction systems (for other automakers, not Jags) and more recently on a few cold air intakes for their factory performance catalogs. As you probably know, it is possible to see a slight power gain but only if you consider all the variables. It looks like you're in the process of doing exactly that. Nice job.
In the meantime, I have 3 small questions:
What gear did you run you car in on the dyno? 3rd or 4th? Strange question, I know.
What kind of DynoJet dyno was it? The latest one? 322 RWHP max reported, is that correct?
That looks like an oiled K&N conical filter. Is that right? Have you tried the newer AEM Dryflow Synthetic media filters?
OK, that's more than 3 questions, but I'm doing some research.
I'm too busy working on some customer projects right now, but I have been itching to create a stock-looking, low-restriction, cold air intake with a proper heat shield for my STR. The trouble as always is the limited space and all that hot air underhood, but I still think it's possible to create something worth the hour of installation time. Maybe in June.
BTW, do you have any videos of that sinister looking machine?
Good luck!
