Gas gauge

RE: Gas gauge
Needs fuel level senders.
There is a TSB for replacing the arms and harnesses. Or you can just replace the pump and jet pump assy. A little more pricey if you are out of warranty though.
WHen you have it filled up, with ignition off, hold in the trip button, turn key on to position 2 and count 5 and let go of trip. Should say test mode on instrument pack. Each press of the trip button will show a different reading for different things. Keep pressing until you see Raw Fuel 1. Make a note of the reading. Press trip again and will show Raw Fuel 2. Make a note of that one too. Post the results and I will let you know which one if faulty if possible.

RE: Gas gauge
Those readings are about right.
How much gas did you put in? I have had a few where I needed to put a tank in
due to it shutting off the fuel before being full.
Run it toward empty and fill again. You need to see if it takes full tank to determine
if it is the senders or the tank.
