camshaft timing tools arrived today
i have read there are 3 grades of bearing shells
I can get them in new Zealand
But how do i tell what grade i need

Heads and piston heads have arrived from the United states
All gaskets and new injectors oil pump from sng barratt in the United kingdom they were great to deal with bit hard when i get a phone call at 3 am new Zealand time due to time difference
Also could someone please tell me where i can get a list of all the torque settings
Thanking you

You might get more responses if you include ENGINE TYPE?(I hate mystery cars)

@Darrol2004, the torque settings for internal engine components are in the Workshop Manual and Engine Repair Course PDFs in the links I provided on the other thread.

I hazard a guess that you are working on a S-Type V8 - this is my conclusion after remembering a previous thread of yours...
I saw your tool to fixate you cam-shafts - if you intend to remove the cam-shaft sprockets, this video of I guy I know in Vienna will interest you:
at time (9:36). This tool of yours is actually not suitable to hold the cam-shafts while you attempt to remove the sprockets, as the 3rd hole in the centre is missing for a third fixation-bold. But Michael (in Vienna) used that tool anyway to do just that. I am not sure, if that was the best idea - I guess I would have drilled a third hole... I am not sure, if I will have the same "fun" with that tool (which I intent to make from scratch) on my S-Type V6 one day, but I already know, that I will have exactly that kind of fun right after I finish working on my V6 S-Type, because my next project is the timing chain and sprockets of my XJ8 (V8), where I will have exactly that problem...
