Default Getting the upper pulley done! Now!

Hi all

I'm sat in the Phoenix Coach works garage in Devon UK getting my new upper pulley fitted! Very excited and can't wait to try out the new pulley. Not really the best weather to do it though! It's damp
And sub zero temperature!

I've also got a new K&N performance filter at home waiting to be fitted too.

The coach works ("performance pulleys" on ebay)garage seems very good. They are really friendly and obviously pretty well respected looking at some of the other cars in here at the moment. I was going to buy the pulley and fit my self but as it was £200 fir the pulley and fitting I thought id let them do it

I'll let you know what I think once fitted!

Check them out at

Greg, what size (lb) pulley? 1.5 or 2.5/3.0? I presently run the Mina Galleries 1.5 lb pulley.

AWESOME! Let us know how you like it!

You had a pretty big drive, huh?! At least you're in a beautiful place. I love visiting North Devon area. Enjoy the drive back!

Did you do have anything else done to the supercharged other than the pulley? Was it the 3.0 pulley. Did they have to do any grinding to bet it to fit right?

Hey brother, is it the 1.5 that doesn't require the nose cone to be ground down?

its the 3.0 ive got, yeah you need to grind the nose to get the pulley to fit. with any 3.0 you will have to grind it away. they say you will need another bigger chargecooler fitting. he siad the eurotoys low temp thermostat wouldnt be enough. the lower pulley is supposed to be a pain in the **** to fit too!

So I heard from a friend who did it to his XJR....He bought the pricey set up from eurotoys and he said it was a BITCH......and he towed the car over to eurotoys for them to finish it and they had issues with thier own set up and never got the belt to fully line up, and use da cheap washer to get the right spacing so it stopped jumping the belt off on high rpm's......not worht the 1300 bucks they want for a peace that you need to add a weasher to make it work right....thus why it is not on my car....yet
